Jan 24 & 25: Dry January Donation Drive and Community Day of Action
Keeping our neighbors dry is a shared responsibility.
This January, SUAY is hosting a community donation drive and volunteer sorting pop-up in partnership with RHA and Union Rescue Mission. Winter conditions are harsh, and many of our unhoused neighbors are being left exposed. This event is a chance to show up together with material support, time, and care.
This is not a drop-off-only drive. We are inviting the community to participate in sorting and preparing winter survival items for redistribution.
What’s Happening
Donation drive for high-need winter items
Volunteer sorting and redistribution preparation
Flash sale to generate immediate funds for redistribution
Warm food and coffee with values-aligned vendors
You are welcome to come for 15 minutes or stay longer.
What to Bring
We are collecting partner-verified, high-need items only. Please bring items that are clean and in usable condition.
